Im off to Wally World
Posted on February 14 2014
So Im off to Florida with the 2 kids next week. I am both excited and terrified. What does a family trip with a 10 month old and a 2 year old look like? How many of what will I need? I guess this is a quick lesson for me in family packing. I planned this trip almost a year ago with my mother, and back then there was no TLP, I was just heading back to my sales position, so it didn't seem so daunting. Um it's pretty daunting now. We have begun to pack, and here is what I am starting to put together. Let me know what I am forgetting:
Car seats -2
babymov UV tent, they work like a charm on the beach, and great for keeping a home base for the toddler.
Water toys and towels - I have a feeling I will dig many holes next week with a small shovel.
Nolan-onesies and leggings, shorts and t-shirts, a sweatshirt and pants, a jacket and socks. Oh and a couple swim suits. done
Amelia- sundresses, shorts and t-shirts, a sweatshirt and pants, a jacket and socks, a couple swimsuits, and tanktops. Sandals and running shoes.
Cutlery and plates and bowls, no hotel ever has these.
Diapers! and more Diapers, and a travel change mat.
Toothbrush and toohpaste, medications ( Children's Advil, and Tylenol, Gravol, bandaids, polysporin)
2 wet bags. I have found this newly discovered product to be so handy for wet clothes, diapers you name it.
Sun hats for both
Passports, and forms to show Wes is letting me take the children without him. Very Important
Now here is where you start to think: am I forgetting anything off the list? I know I will for sure forget something. I just hope its not that important..
Some great wisdom I will stick to on this trip:
